GET GENTLE SLEEP HELPAfter the mind field of advice on social media making me feel like a failing first time mum & that my daughter wasn’t doing as she should for her age a simple conversation and I was told we were both doing “perfect” The utter relief to know everything was ok and in fact me & my daughter were absolutely on the right track with feeding and sleep. It’s so difficult with formula feeding as we are told what our child should be eating, how often and when they should be eating more. This just isn’t the case, my daughter feeds like a BF baby with small amounts and to be told that’s normal and ok just lifted a gigantic weight off my very heavy shoulders. I can’t thank you enough!
Can’t recommend Tors enough! When my daughter was only a few days old, I was in tears from painful feeding and latch issues. I reached out to Tors and she was amazing, after sending her some videos, she came to our home the very next day. She instantly made me feel relaxed, was so knowledgeable, and spent lots of time making sure I felt confident feeding in different positions. I honestly don’t think I would have continued breastfeeding without her support. Thanks to that first appointment, I’ve gone on to have such a lovely feeding journey - and 13 months later, we’re still going strong. I’ll always be so grateful for Tors’ help and have recommended her to so many new mums. Thank you Tors! 💛
I’m forever greatful for the support and guidance that Tors provided me to feed my third baby. My daughter was born very poorly and I reached out for support with pumping while she was in intensive care. But not only did I get the best pumping advise to be able to give my baby the best possible start I was also met with kindness, love, compassion and support at my most difficult time. The guidance I was given in hospital by midwife’s was not only incorrect it was also dangerous. Thankfully I was able to rectify but only with Tors knowledge. When it came to eventually putting baby to the breast it was Tors advice that I followed and we are now 5 months on still breastfeeding successfully with a happy thriving baby. I only wish I’d met with her sooner on my older children.
Tors provided us with fantastic support when our son was struggling to gain weight due to a tongue tie and complex labour. Always friendly and professional, as well as knowledgeable and supportive - I always recommend Tors to friends who are needing help with feeding
Thanks to the invaluable support of Tors in those first anxious days post birth and beyond I’ve just reached the six month mark exclusively breast feeding. I can’t rate her highly enough- a source of so much knowledge and skill when it comes to feeding she inspired me with confidence when I was doubting myself. The video calls are so helpful as you already have many people coming to your house post birth that to be able to make a quick reassurance call to a professional is just so so helpful. She was able to quickly assess our latch and make an easy suggestion that made all the difference to us (tuck legs in etc etc) I’m so grateful to Tors for her support and she is worth her weight in gold!
I’m so incredibly grateful for the support I received from Tors during her in-home visit. From the moment she arrived, she created such a calm, supportive environment and immediately made me feel at ease. As a new parent, I had so many questions and worries about breastfeeding, but Tors met every concern with patience, compassion, and clear, evidence-based advice. Having her come to our home was such a gift — not only was it convenient, but it also allowed her to see our feeding setup and offer really practical, personalized suggestions. She took her time, made sure I felt heard and understood, and never made me feel rushed. Her encouragement helped me feel more confident and reassured during a time that felt really vulnerable. Thanks to her visit, I was able to make small changes that made a big difference, and I left our session feeling empowered and far less overwhelmed. I would highly recommend Tors to any parent looking for kind, knowledgeable, and nonjudgmental feeding support. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care truly make her stand out. Thank you again, Tors, for everything!
I cannot recommend Tors highly enough! I was incredibly nervous and stressed about going back to work. My baby, who was just a few weeks shy of 11 months, refused to drink any fluids from a bottle or cup and would only feed from the breast. I honestly didn’t know how I was going to leave her for full days. In fact, I had hardly ever left her at all, not even for small things like having my nails done or taking a bit of time for myself, and I didn’t even realise how much I had missed that. I was also worried about expressing milk and developing mastitis while away from her, and Tors discussed this and gave really practical, reassuring advice. Tors came to visit me two weeks before I was due to return to work and immediately put me at ease. She listened carefully, assessed our situation, and came up with a clear, practical plan to teach my baby to use a straw cup. I followed her guidance over the next few weeks, and the results have been life-changing. My little girl now drinks water confidently from a normal straw cup, enjoys her food, and is happy when I’m away at work. This support has completely transformed our daily life. The stress and anxiety I felt about returning to work and even taking a little time for myself have gone. I feel empowered as a parent knowing my baby is happy, healthy, and independent with her feeding. I am so grateful for Tors’ expertise, patience, and compassionate approach. She genuinely made a huge difference in our lives.
The best thing we ever did was make an appointment and we have never looked back. I had concerns in relation to my sons feeding since he was born and was told everything was fine. We saw Tors when he was approx 8 weeks old and honestly I cant put into words how amazing our experience with her was. It was a game changer. She did a thorough assessment and referred us to the required specialists my son needed to see. She spent so much time with us and answered any questions and queries we had. She was always at the other end of the phone in the weeks after our appointment with any questions I had and this was so comforting for us. I really cant thank her enough.
I am so grateful to Tors - I was having major difficulty with breastfeeding and was considering stopping and moving to the bottle after 16 days of tears and frustration. After a few videos and suggestions from Tors my baby is now latching and feeding really well. I could not recommend her enough. Also a very lovey and caring individual who is clearly passionate about breastfeeding.
Tors came to visit me 2 days ago. I have an 8 week old little boy suffering with reflux and colic. Alongside a very lively (for lack of a better word) 😂 two year old . I breastfed my toddler for 17 months exclusively so i went into it this time thinking I was good to go, and that despite my eldest suffering with severe reflux, that lightning could not strike twice. Shock horror it did ! But i was determined to get it sorted and avoid heavy use of ppi’s etc . Tors was bloody amazing. She came to my home and was so knowledgable. She helped me with various different positions to get a better latch. Gave me a better understanding of the mechanics of breastfeeding. Gave my husband in depth demonstrations on pace feeding and even made my toddler a snowman out of playdough. Since the appointment my baby has not needed to use the infant gaviscon which was prescribed to him and has been the happiest little unicorn baby (sleeping for 6 hours straight last night as well) Tors you are a hero. I wish i could turn back time and have you by my side when i started my journey with feeding two yesrs ago. If your thinking of booking tors. DO IT !
Tors was so helpful in my breastfeeding journey. She was friendly and so knowledgeable. She really helped me to gain a good understanding of breastfeeding and increased confidence in the process going forward. Everything was explained in easy to understand terms and just great support. Would 100% recommend
Tors is AMAZING. I owe the fact that I'm still breastfeeding after a really difficult 6 weeks postpartum to her. I've gone from shields and almost falling back on bottles to avoid pain due to baby's oral function to breastfeeding 95% of the time mostly without shields..in a few weeks and two consults. Not only is her knowledge on breastfeeding very in-depth and far reaching but (almost more importantly) her bedside manner is first class and she was confidence boosting for me, and brilliant with my baby whom had two oral exams during her visits and didn't protest once (he did with the midwife!) Both me and my husband are both very thankful we found her and would recommend her if you're at the end of your rope with the breastfeeding journey. Worth every penny. Thank you!
I purchased the on demand webinar on how to become an IBCLC and it was so helpful! Tors gives an in-depth walk through on the stages you need to go through to complete your training and what this costs/how much time it will take. Before watching this webinar, I was feeling that I was unable to achieve this because I am not a healthcare professional, but now I am very hopeful and can see a clear path towards becoming an IBCLC. Thank you Tors!
A huge thank you to Tors for helping me when I was just about to give up breastfeeding! I saw Tors when my baby was 10 weeks old for severe breast pain both when feeding and between feeds (pain waking me up through the night despite maximum pain killers!). I had been attending breastfeeding groups which had helped but hadn’t resolved the problem. Tors was very kind and understanding, listened well and was brilliant with my baby. She identified what the problems were and explained things clearly so I understood the cause and how the advice going forward could help. Tors allowed me to ask questions about breastfeeding but also about bottle feeding / combi feeding and the use of a dummy to try and combat the pain. I received a detailed report with lots of useful information and videos to watch. We started the plan (change to the way I was latching and oral exercises) and have seen a big improvement. It’s only been 2.5 weeks since seeing Tors but I have a significant reduction in pain (sometimes going >24 hours without pain relief) and I don’t have any dread before latching my baby on. We have also seen improvements which I didn’t expect- he is sleeping through the night, has no more colic, bowels are regular and predictable and he has jumped from the 9th to the 25th centile for weight. I would highly recommend reaching out to Tors if you are having any problems with feeding! I wish I had gone sooner! Thank you from a much happier mum and baby! Edit/ update 27/3/24 I had already had a consultation with Tors at the beginning of my breastfeeding journey for pain when feeding which resolved within 2 weeks of my consultation. I have been breastfeeding for nearly a year but felt anxious to return to work and wasn’t sure how to navigate breastfeeding and work / nursery so decided to have another consultation with Tors as I was so happy with the help I had previously. Tors was really lovely and put my mind at ease. We worked through a plan to help transition my baby into nursery which I am putting into place now. I feel happier and more confident going back to work now- thank you again Tors!
Bottle feeding Queen We really didn't know where to turn with our 4 month old who was suffering with silent reflux, CMPA, slow weight gain and signs of bottle aversion, but Tors gave us the magic wand and put us on the right road to overcome these hurdles. I breastfed my first baby who had similar issues, and naively thought bottle feeding would be the easier route for my second. But bottle or breast - they all come with their own, sometimes complex, feeding issues, and Tors is an expert is both areas. She took a thorough history and really listened to our whole journey up until now. Her expertise and knowledge in her job was so evident and she was able to identify several reasons that were likely all contributing to the silent reflux and bottle aversion. Overnight, our baby went from drinking 10oz in 24hrs to 23oz! Tors is caring, understanding and made us feel so heard. My only regret is that we didn't get Tors' support much sooner. I would encourage anyone who is having any feeding issues, whether bottle of breast to get Tors' support. It will be the best money you've spent!
Happy Client
I would highly recommend Tors! She has been fantastic helping me and my little girl in our breastfeeding journey and continues to provide us follow up support as we work through our issues.
Her care and advice has been personal and tailored to our situation, she has liaised with midwives and health visitors to ensure continuity of care and the evidence base behind her recommendations is exactly what we needed as a family. I am so pleased we reached out for her help!
